KTNV 13′s Steve Ryan had a serious job to do. He had to report on the sadness felt in Las Vegas over the death of Michael Jackson.

Then, a jackass showed up.

We all know this is hard to deal with, but sometimes inevitable. You may be covering a parade or the Fourth of July or a Nascar event and some crazy is going to try to get in your live shot. What should you do?

It really turns into a freak scene there towards the end. Good on Mike for not taking a swing.

This KGW reporter has been “practicing her ollie”. I guess she thought knowing the skater lingo would make her seem cool to the kids. That was a good move. We’d hate for her to look dumb in front of the kids.

He’s got his trusty stop watch. He should have worn his trusty shin guards. If only he would have jumped at the last second he would have looked like the man. He didn’t. So he looks like an idiot. I must admit that, even though he must have been in tremendous pain, I am impressed that he managed to do his signoff after the accident.
